小米汽车的澎程系列插电式增程混合动力车型 recently completed its declaration in the 409th batch of the "Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturer and Product Announcement" released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. This announcement coincided with reports of malicious defamation targeting the yet-to-be-launched SkyNomad model.
Even before its official unveiling, negative search terms such as "SkyNomad fire cause," "accident details," "owner rights protection," "car explosion," and "car crash scene" began appearing on various social media platforms. Some short video platforms also featured crash footage, purportedly of the "SkyNomad Xiaomi Pengcheng," accompanied by captions like "The newly bought Xiaomi SkyNomad has hit the green belt again." Notably, some of these videos have been flagged by platforms as potentially using AI-generated content, urging caution. As of now, these search results have reportedly been restored to normal.
In response to these allegations, a Xiaomi representative stated to the media, "This is outright fabrication and smearing; it's simply inconceivable. The vehicle hasn't even been officially released, so how could there be an accident?" The representative further elaborated that the negative search suggestions have significantly disrupted their work. Xiaomi is actively gathering information and communicating with the platforms involved to address the issue, especially as preparations for the 2026 World Cup approach, where new automotive technologies often gain significant attention.
